At a June 4, 2020 Joint Board Call Meeting, the Antioch Baptist Church decided not to resume services at this time but to reevaluate the resumption of service after school starts.  The Trustees will provide a recommendation at a Joint Board Call Meeting in early September of 2020.

The church building is closed but the spiritual church is still functioning.  Pastor Finch posts a weekly sermon to FaceBook each Sunday.  Pastor Finch, Deacons, Deaconess, Trustees and Missionaries are standing by to support the members of Antioch whenever possible.  Members should inform the Pastor and the chairman of the Deacons if:

  1. There is an update to the Sick and Shut-in list

  2. There is an update to the prayer list

  3. A member experiences a severe financial need such as a loss of job or reduction in work hours making it difficult to pay bills/rent.

The Antioch Baptist Church 2020 Revival and Homecoming/Rally Day has been cancelled. Although services are cancelled, the Trustees request that each member donate $100.00 in support of Homecoming and Rally Day.  If you are unable to donate this amount, please follow your heart and give according to your circumstances.

The Sunday School is investigating virtual Sunday School events and plans to provide back to school gift cards to each student currently on the roll.
