Dr. Larry Finch, Sr., is a born-again Christian and is the pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church in King George, Virginia.


He and his wife LaVerne are blessed with two children (LaVida and Larry Jr.) and six grandchildren (Lamont, Mischa, Micah, Joshua, Angel, and Elias). Dr. Finch is committed to serving God continually, striving to edify and equip the Christian community. His ultimate goal is winning souls to Christ as he equips the body of believers through God’s Word as the Holy Spirit guides him, and to help them gain a better understanding of God’s plan and purpose for their lives.


Dr. Finch has been certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors and Therapists, the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling, is a member of the Missionary Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Washington, D.C. and vicinity, in concert with the Progressive Baptist Convention, Inc., and is a member of the Ministers Alliance of Charles County and Vicinity.

Dr. Finch is the author of his book entitled, “What Every Religion Needs to Know About the Godhead – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.”

Pastor Larry Finch, Sr.

Dr. Finch graduated from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia with a PhD in Bible ' Theology, a Master of Divinity, and a Bachelor in Christian Education. He has received numerous certificates from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, awarded the Humanitarian Award from the National Foundation of Cancer Research, received a Special Olympics Summer Games Award for assisting in the D.C. Special Olympics Summer Games, awarded the Humanitarian Award from the American Disabled Veterans Association, and received the Lamp of Knowledge Award from the St. Joseph Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.

A native of Washington, DC, First Lady Finch is a born again Christian Minister, and First Lady of Antioch Baptist where Rev. Dr. Larry Finch, Sr. is Pastor.

Reverend Finch is committed to diligently serving God.  She is a dedicated servant of the Lord and enjoys serving in any capacity He directs. 


She received her Associate's Degree in Biblical Studies from the Andersonville Theological Seminary; Camilla, Georgia and is working on her Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies.

Reverend Finch is the Director of the "Turning Point Ministry for Women and Young Ladies," that reaches women and young ladies starting at the age of 13.  The ministry is designed to help women gain a greater understanding of God's Word, discover and enhance their spiritual growth and prepare them to exercise their spiritual gifts to bring glory to God.


Reverend Finch also developed an Internet devotional ministry entitled "Touch and Agree," which sends out devotions and prayers. Reverend Finch enjoys working with people of all ages.  She has a passion for reading, organizing projects, Bible studies, sewing, and crafts.To God be the Glory for His marvelous blessings!
